The project is a frame that allows users to re-purpose their old clothes using a tufting punch to create unique rugs. It’s on a mission to fight fast fashion and reduce textile waste in landfills.
The frame offers a creative and sustainable solution, empowering users to transform their old clothes into something new and beautiful. By re-purposing clothing in this way, users can reduce their carbon footprint and make a positive impact on the environment.
What is Tufting?
Tufting is where a thread is looped back through a fabric and looped back with an extended thread, then looped out over the fabric. Since COVID-19 there has been a rapid increase in it popularity , going viral on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
Summer Serotonin is a sustainable clothing line and vintage clothing collection brand. Our brand is providing affordable clothing with the core value of giving people stylish and comfortable clothing they can wear daily. We are students who are trying to create a fun community for others who share our passion. You can also be part of our vision.
