A Future Low-carbon Home Audio-visual Device and System
With rapid technological advancements leading to cloud-based data storage, there’s a growing need for an innovative interaction system between product hardware, users, and manufacturers—one that senses carbon emissions, promotes clean energy adoption, and minimizes remote server carbon footprints. To meet this need, I’ve combined 3D printing technology
with Arduino programming, creating and testing various components to deliver the most effective carbon emission feedback. By integrating these components into existing audio and video products, users can gauge their carbon emissions during online media streaming and exercise greater control. This is a tangible step towards environmental consciousness in our digital interactions.
