Taking Up Space
This short shows a quick walk-around of one of my recent instillations part of my Taking Up Space project. The crochetted nets, formed through tension, engulf a space with walls of red flowing in each direction. These images come from the beginning of the concept for this show; an initial experiment using scrapped sheets led to me finding the way I want to visualise and showcase movement with large scale crochet, based off original drawings and explorations into line, form and shape.
